Question Need PT.NET HELP! Those with milled heads come in!

I'm taking my 243's to a machine shop to get milled .030 Thursday and the I've had more than one machinist tell me that with .030 cut from the heads, the intake and valley cover will not fit because the angle of the manifold bolts change. They're going on an 01 LS1. Any truth to this???

Any idea of what compression these will yield? 2001 LS1 stock bottom end.
