what's wrong with comp rocker arms also how is that cam does the torque come in right away or do you have to spin the engine to get the power

Off-idle its not as good as stock, but you will get that with any cam. The torque curve is very broad, it just keeps pulling and pulling.

The main thing that I know about the Comp roller rockers is that they are HEAVY...a lot of unnecessary weight on the valvetrain IMO. What Patriot springs are you going with, the golds? Seems like a lot of spring for that cam IMO, which also stresses out the valvetrain...what springs does Lingenfelter recommend? IIRC they sell that cam with LS6 springs, which can be had for about 60 bux new from places such as SDPC. If you plan on going bigger on the cam in the future that's a different story though.

Congrats on the LQ9 BTW, is this the same engine that you PM'd me about?

Billy is right, with the GT2-3 cam, as long as you’re planning on keeping it, the Patriot Gold springs are way over kill. If you plan on keeping the cam and still want to beef up the valve-train I would just run the LS6 springs that Lingenfelter recommends with the addition of a set of hardened pushrods and at most, either a set of Harland Sharp or Comp Cam’s roller trunnion modified stock rockers. Now if you’re contemplating swapping cams, by all means the Patriot Gold’s are good springs.
