Mods Without Voiding Warrenty?
I've already go a PCM tune from wait4me. What else can I do that will actually give me some gains without voiding my warrenty.
I was thinking just air intake and a muffler, anything else?

wheels/tires
a 2/4 drop
pulley
headers perhaps, if you're in an area that doesn't do a visual inspection.
i know there's someone on here with a turbo setup and his local dealership still honors his warrenty.

Here's the deal on warranties, In order for the dealer not to honor your warranty, they have to prove that the mod you installed was the DIRECT CAUSE of the problem.

Couldn't have said it better. This is how its supposed to work anyways, but a lot of dealerships will still give ya a hard time about things. Find ya a good dealership that you trust and they will take care of ya. When I had my 04 that was cammed, headers full bolt-on, new gears, trans work, and still under factory warrany, they still honored it.

it is a certain law or act that this is called where teh dealer has to prove it caused the problem but the fact of the matter is the dealer will always find a way to say your after market stuff caused the problem.

ScojoDak is correct. The dealer has to prove your modification was the exact reason for a failure. It is called the Magnuson Moss Warranty Act. Read about it here:

However, if you modify parts internally (heads/cam, etc.) and you blow your engine, I'm certain the dealer will not honor your warranty (unless you have connections with people working at the dealer).
