What Methanol Injection System are you guys using?

 

SMC will be going on in a few days.

That looks like the best system so far. Just doing my homework before i buy. Any others?

 

what does alky do overall? Is it like N20 or does it help reduce knocking?

 

why not go with water injection?

 

It's the same system. You can use water, alcohol, methanol or mixture of water and alcohol

 

It reduce intake temps and raise octane rating

 

A lot of people use the SMC kits also. I have heard of problems with leaky pumps but the only one I can think of off the top of my head is Greentahoe. He'll chime in here shorty.

Just choose what type of injection you want to use and tune for it. You can't really swtich around between 50/50 mixes and full strength as it will throw off the tune. I use 100% Meth,.
