right, why run the methanol though? On a street vehicle wouldn't it be easier to run water inj than methanol on a daily basis?

i have a SMC kit in my truck but don't use it. so far, i can't see that it is worth using. i don't get any more hp or torque by increasing the timing and using the alcohol than i do by keeping the timing lower and not using the alcohol.

Thats who I went with. My pump started leaking as did all the fittings after about 3 months. They sent me a new pump and I had to use automotive GOOP to seal the fittings. It looks like ****, but I havent had any more problems. I spent as much on my snow kit with extra things as what the AlkyControl kit costs and my kit is no where near as nice.
F8L seems to be right more than I would like to admit

Look at aquamist, they have some very nice, although expensive, setups, you could get away with water inj day-to-day and then switch it up to a 50/50 at the track.
