I have a cam, specs are: 212/218 521/529lift with a lsa of 114
would this be a good streetable cam as far as gas milage and drivability. i also thought about a stock z06 cam? which would be better? im gonna have a professional tune with a hp tuner done after i get done with the cam and headers. Its going in a 2007 5.3 High output aluminum block with 243 heads, cold air.
also LT's or Shortys? does anyone make LT's for 2007 new body style trucks?

If you don't have any state regulations that prohibit altering factory location of the catalytic converters than by all means do long tubes. Most of our members will tell you shortys dont do much.

I think that a set of LT's would compliment that cam nicely
I can vouch for the shorties showing little to no gains from personal experience...I ran Gibson shorties for about 5 years prior to the StainlessWorks LT's that I have now. I didn't feel diddly with the shorties, but the LT's definitely improved my performance according to my butt-o-meter.

I heard a 07 classic with that 212/218 cam and i fell in love with the sound of it. You guys definatily talked me into the the LT's but i cant find any for the 07 new body style, will the 06's back work?
also got to checking i have to buy a old style timing set becuase the 07's cam sprocket has one large bolt instead of the traditional 3 bolts.
heres what the cam sounds like in another truck i found on you tube.
