One more thing, I really did like the tread pattern and wet driving performance from them. Also the rim guard on the tires saved my rims mane times. The kuhmo's have the same features. Now from a stop sign on a rainy day if you dont slowly accelerate they will break loose on you. But not nearly as bad as the stock wilderness a/t

Thanks. mine are almost bald now so I'm trying to decide what to do next. I want something thats gonna grip a little better at the tracks than these POS tires. I paid like $650 for all 4 tires and mounting like 1.5 years ago maybe. I should have just gone with better tires back then.

What kind of tire is that michelin? A/T or a performance? The michelin's are expensive tires. Good thing about these kumhos is the price tag. The ones on tirerack are around 87.00 per tire. Much cheaper than the toyo's and I hear good things about them.

a/t. They are a SEARS exclusive and are on sale for like $79 right now, I just want a performance tire. My wet traction just plain SUCKS, but I must say they were a slight improvement over factory. I'm about to go get a few pics of the fans so I will post them up shortly.

Wet traction on the toyo's was good for taking corners and accelerating from a roll. But like I say, from a dead stop if you dont barely feather it they will break loose and all I hear is my locking rear trying to get traction. they say the g80 is quiet but not mine. Now if I want I can go from stop sign to stop sign just peeling out with the toyos but of course thats where some of my tread went. Its fun but expensive.

Actually they were these:

The Michelins had crappy traction wherever. I can be driving 30 on a wet day and lay into it and spin until I want to stop. They have horrible traction in wet condidtions. From a stop I can roast them without powerbraking and spin until I let off as well. It sucks when like furds or something try to race you and dont lose any traction because they have no power and better traction tires and you are just spinning like crazy.

Oh ok, yeah those are pretty much like my stockers. Now if I'm doing around 30 on a wet road and I hit it hard enough to drop down into I think 2nd, then they will rbeak loose but not near as bad as those tires would. I had a bad hydroplane experience with my wilderness a/t's that ended up putting me on top of a guardrail after accelerating during a turn. 5,000.00 and one month in the shop made me get the toyo's. I like them but tread wear is the worst part.
As far as dry, off the line traction, I can barely spin them if any at all. Even bald they grip pretty hard. Accelerating while turning I can light the up though.

Yeah, I want something with grip in wet conditions for mostly the same reasons. The treadwear is bad on these too, so I'm not too worried about that. Also if I accelerate when turning I can spin them like crazy, big clouds of smoke.
