Oh yeah, much more room. The pic above is with a K&N intake and a Helix TB spacer and there is still tons of room.

If I read right with nelson's harness he uses pretty high quality wire and it looks like a straightforward install. I would rather go with the pcm route rather than a probe. Probes can start to read wrong and the pcm would be more accurate.

Nice picture of the fans. Thats the other thing, much more room.

Yeah, my thoughts exactly. BTW, here are links to an install I found on here, Nelson harness instructions posted by Allen Nelson, and a pic of the Nelson harness in that order:

Just trying to help out, these were some sites I found when I was looking into the wiring setups for my LS1 fans.

I got mine from BigKID on this forum. If you post that you WTB a set in the classifieds I'm sure someone will chime in and sell you a set. Also try ebay or a local junkyard, shouldn't be more than about $100.

Not trying to get off subject here 00Blue, but I guess it will add to your post count so you can post in the classifieds. How do you like the Toyo Proxes? Also how much did they run you? I have been thinking about getting a set. I can't hook worth a crap with these Michelin XC LT4s.

Thanks lol. seriously though, I've had good and bad results with these. Compared to the stock tires these hook up pretty good. In fact it was hard to even spin them until I got the intake and exhaust. I drive extremely hard most of the time and for the first 5 months they were great tires. I've had them on for about one year and 10k miles and my right rear is worn down to nothing, the left rear is coming close and the 2 front tires for most people are getting close to replacing, not me though. They still have some tread life left. I never did any burnouts. The size I have is on stock rims, they are 275 60 16. I want to say I got them locally for 131.00 mounted and balanced. I rotated them at 5k miles. But if you take it easy on them and rotate every 3k miles they might last you 20k. They are just extremely soft, but good for traction. I'm looking into the kuhmo ecsta stx's right now but they are on backorder everywhere I tried so far. Hope that helps.
