I have CRAZYCUTER4.8 as a witness to this I was smoking all of 1st and spinning all of 2nd! Its stupid! I actually cant wait to put the 16's on! It is already tuned and running damn near perfect-at least to SOTP-I will know more after I scan it and dyno it but I dont expect to make any changes. I had the tune(Ed Wright) the day after the mishap and the motor in and me driving in less than 3 days! I am fortunate to have a good place to do my work! I loved my 4.8 and had 5 hits n20 and two weeks of a new cam and then the mishap so I didnt get to see its potential but Ill get over it!

 

What heads did you put on that LS1? Congrats on the new motor! I wish I could afford to get my LS1 up and running!

 

I used my 4.8 heads. Kitlers did a valve job and some mild head work! I had access to some ls1 heads and even some 6.0 heads but would or would be close to running out of injector. I plan on doing a full out head job,injectors,ls6 intake,and vette injector/engine covers in the near future!
