I think I’ve decided on going to the stage 2 212/218 112lsa cam but the only thing I’m hung up on is whether to run my 317 heads or go to the 243/799. I may keep the stock exhaust manifolds and delete the cats. Truck already has the dual exhaust from manifolds back.
what would you recommend for heads/ manifold option if my priority is low end torque? I’m leaning towards some cnc 243’s and factory truck manifolds but I’d like to hear the general consensus. I think I’ll run my 78mm throttle body on the tbss/nnbs also for the low end torque idea also

ive had many combos on my 6.0, i will say the torquiest it has ever been was with the stock truck intake and 78mm stock throttle body and the btr stage 2 212/218 truck cam, just hands down a torque monster, you can go for the 243/799 heads as alone they will bump up compression. another cheaper option is running a 5.3 head on the 6.0 that will help low end grunt even more, you can have those ported too if you want more out of them. i know when i had the CNC 799 heads i have now on my old 5.3 it was a turd and woke up after like 3500 rpm, when i switched to the lq4 it was a total different truck.
