what is a good mild 6.0 lq9 cam ?

Default what is a good mild 6.0 lq9 cam ?

putting this truck together for dad going to buy the lq9 this weekend pull the 4.8 out and swap the 6.0 in next week its a 99 ecsb 2wd 343 gear ebay headers and a cai just looking for a nice mild power builder that suplies decent sound and improved mpg thanks for all the info

i put 228 r in my friends 5.3 last year and picked up 2 mpg ...i knw its not going to get as good as the 4.8 just looking to get around 18 i was looking at 224-224 ?

i just done a lq9 swap and went with the 228r. I love it, i didnt really notice that much of a difference in mpg from my 4.8 with a 220/220. The 228r sounds awesome.

actually i think a lq9 could get better mpg than a 4.8. i know that the 5.3 gets better mileage than the 4.8. if you drive it right, the motor doesnt have to work as hard to get the truck going. the 4.8 is the bastard motor of GM. i dont know why they still make the damn thing.
