How big can you make the chambers on the Darts? Slow did you get them yet?

umm...not exactly right...it depends on the size of the turbo and such...boost makes heat...it really depends on how much boost your running and your setup..

Denali, This will be one of the hardest choices, it has alot to do with cam choice also. That choice will be hard too. Have you thought about a cam yet?

That is why I threw in the "within reason" part. Maybe I should have said common sense too.

no cam yet, i'm leaving that up to Slowhawk who will be doing the install/tuning. I'm thinking about slapping the heads on it now and waiting till sping to get the 408. Can't decide. I'm worried about my tranny now too. I might do heads/cam now and pray to god i don't blow the engine before i can afford to buy a new one. the problem is, the installation charges are gonna kill me and there's no way i'll attempt it myself.

Ideally, i'd do heads/cam/headers now, run it a few times in the spring to see if i can get 12's or whatever. Then buy a shortblock and just sit on it till my stock engine blows.

Doesn't your truck have a 4l80e?

I put my heads on now cause I am still up in the air on what is next. I would say a 408 or 402 is definately coming, just a matter of when.
