Default LQ4 build

Hey everyone new to the forum. Been reading through this forum for a while and finally decided to join. Got an 04 silverado ECSB 2WD with the 4.8. Recently purchased an LQ4 block and a set of l92 heads with patriot gold dual springs installed. Plan on boring the block to a 370 and forging for future boost plans. Trying to make 500-600 hp N/A. Is it possible? If so which intake, cam and injectors should i use?

500-600 hp at the flywheel should be no problem, if that's what you want.

What kind of transmission are you going to use? If boost is definitely in the plans the cam is not going to be a big one. I think its possible to make right around 500 flywheel hp with a low compression 370 I think, I wouldn't expect it to make much more though. Let me know transmission and stall and I will be able to spec a decent boost cam for the motor.

How far in the future are your boost plans?

The transmission is gonna be a 4l80 with about a 3200-3600 stall. As far as boost plans go I figure within a year. Wanting to go with a procharger.

You heading in the right direction but if you gunna boost the motor do it all at once instead of going N/A then switching some parts for boost a boost cam won't be up to full potential till its boosted just fully plan before you jump into a build so you can get it done right the first time around and all your componets work together
