Go for it you definately got the know how and your in the right place. I read for like 2 months before I got HP tuners. Mail order tunes are alright but they can really only tune for wot
99.999% of the time your not at WOT Ive picked up alot of power and taken time off just by getting the part throttle tuning right. Go for it you wont be sorry

you're certainly smart enough to pull it off yourself. taking your time you'll get it just how you want it. if not there are many out there to help. i tune trucks on a regular basis, it's not bad once you get used to the software. i use tunercat and hptuners. if i can be of help to you at all you just let me know.

Im gonna give it a shot. Its been about a year since ive attempted PT tuning. I may be giving you a shout here within a few weeks! Appreciate the offer too!

Ive got that setup on my truck right now. Heavily worked over 5.3L heads on an LQ4, and I must say i love it. NA, my truck is making about 340whp with 4WD and 33" tires. Its a pretty fun truck on the street.


Now on with the nitrous!

340 with 33" tires Did you dyno that with those tires on?

I sure did. Track times too with the 33's.
