Low End?
#1
Well I towed my new pop up trailer behind me today to one of the state parks to get a lil practice in towing it and to see how the truck would handle it. The lil 4.8 is a pansy when it comes to getting the damn thing moving. So my question is............will a volant closed intake and the magnaflow catback help a lil on the low end, and what else may help?

In addition to the intake and exhaust you're considering, a cam like the one in my sig would probably help, maybe one with a little less duration, but the same lift. What that cam did for my low end was amazing, it completely change the personality of my truck. I'd recommend filling out the cam request sheet at Cam Motion and see what they tell you.

In order to fill that out I need to know a few things that I couldnt find..............
Like:
Rocker Ratio
Stock Intake Runner CC
Convertor Amount
I put on there a power range of 1500-5200, would 1500-4000 be more reasonable for what I will be doing?
Edit**I went ahead and put in the request, I'm sure they know such information for a stock LR4.

As far as power range, you did fine, although if you tow, you might want power a little lower. Do you have an automatic? If so, I would think you want power right off idle, so that would put your powerband from 700-5200 RPM's. If you have a stick, you could go higher.
