Your prob not missing any power. This comes up all the time, people think that the bigger the better, just like big donkey dick cams. If your worried about it add a header spike to each one, it will aid in scavenging. You have a 6.2 in that truck, so this leaves you room to grow if you decide to boost it. I worried about the primary size at first, then did some reading, found plenty of guys going deep 11's even with 1 3/4 and only 2.5'' collectors. It's not the end of the world On another note alot of big tube headers say they give you more hp, but where at? up top for only a few more rpm, or through out the entire run.. Like I said I think you are fine.

I think there are also Dyno threads that show the 1 7/8" headers not giving up anything on a LS1 that is stock outside an intake manifold swap. It was the pacesetter vs. texas speed 1 7/8" f body headers on an engine dyno.
IMO you didnt make the wrong call. Especially on that L92. There is a reason that people like those headers on the 6.2... they WORK.
P.S. I may be biased
I bought them after looking into it for a long time though. I think the bigger primaries really open the doors to a high HP build without sacrificing much down low the way people are afraid they will.
