Can you post up a comparison pics of the Iwis chain versus the LS2 chain? I dont see how much better of a chain you can make without going to a different cam and crank gear.

GM # 12588670
It is called a dampener. Cost is about $12.00 and it comes with 2 new bolts.

Digging this up. Are the 5.3 blocks (2003 to be specific) already drilled for the LS2 style damper? It does not sound like the LS1 blocks are, but I couldn't find anything about the 5.3's.

EDIT: After more research, it seems like our blocks, at least the pre 2005, are not drilled and tapped.
