Default 6.2 header question

I am helping my buddy but a set of Pacesetter headers and a ORY pipe on his 2011 6.2 4x4 It will more than likely be a straight bolt on truck.
My question are what do you think the best header size would be. Also what are a good set of header bolts and can we reuse the stock gaskets it only has like 7,000 miles on it.

Thanks Bo

According to my tuner Patrick G, the 6.2 REALLY likes 1 7/8" primaries . . .

Hey Lloyd, Thanks for the tips, were did you find your headers? If you dont mind me asking. Also did you replace the intire system muffler, cats and all? Im ready to do the headers and muffler, but want to keep the stock look, with one out the back. Looks like we have the same truck, so it only makes since to ask someone whos done the deed.

I ended up purchasing my headers and catted Y-pipe directly from ARH. Might could have saved a bit buying from a re-seller, but I didn't take the time to research who re-sells them and at what discount.

I installed the headers and Y-pipe only, cat-back is OEM, including the resonator. Consensus opinion from those who know is that the OEM 6.2 cat-back is a VERY free-flowing system. Better than most aftermarket deals! My tuner - Patrick G - sez that the OEM cat-back is only 3-5 RWHP down from an open cut-out on a mildly modified 6.2.

And the sound - with the headers, high-flow cats and stock cat-back - well, it's pure pu$$y, LOL! None better!

with the cubes of a 6.2 i would def look into 1 7/8 primaries if its in the budget. if not the 1 3/4 pacesetters are a good budget header imo
