You will have a choppy idle and the narrow lobe separation will bleed off some boost. After you get it running check out how much boost you are making I've got a couple of Radix pulleys laying around if you need to raise the boost.

I've got a 3.25, 3.0, and 2.75 in my garage. So I should be ok. I think I might just got for 6-8 pounds this time. I'm thinking, (correct me if I'm wrong) that a 6L with 6#'s should feel as strong as a 5.3 @ 9#'s. I've seen a few guys pushing 10#'s on their daily driver (MJHoward, etc..) and no issues. I guess if I have the fuel system in place and don't go over say, 11.7 afr, I could safely push 10#'s into the LQ4 and get away with it. I haven't really made up my mind yet. This will be my first motor with a non-stock cam as well.

Your 6.0 with 6lbs of boost will be stronger that a 5.3 with 9lbs of boost. The 3.25" pulley will probably give you 6 1/2 lbs with the cam you are planning to run.

I see you have meth. I dont know that I would be willing to go 10#'s without meth or N2O (for cooling purposes only ) I have the wet kit in the garage.....

That clip it seems like they have it idled up too high. It should sound alot lopier and not so quick IMO.

The 112 narrow lobe separation yields more overlap than a wider lobe separation, that's what bleeds off boost. That's why the Linginfelter cam Blownchevy suggested is a better cam for a Radix.
