Those 2 engines are pretty pricey for a used lq4. Should be able to find one for 1200-1800. I got mine with 14000 miles on it for $1875.00 shipped.
did you get that engine from a fellow board member? I was looking through the classifieds here and saw the ad and it looked like you bought it from him. Copy of ad-
First motor -

23,XXX miles
out of 2004 HD 4X4
complete long block
1700.00

Second motor -

40,XXX miles
out of 2003 HD
complete long block
1500.00

Both are in perfect working order. I have heard them both run while still in trucks, no problems. Pretty sure these are both LQ4 motors judging by the trucks they were in.

I will have both of these ready for pick-up by this weekend (10-15/16).

pm or post up if you're interested
Says he saw them and heard them run in both trucks. Just doesnt seem right to me. Somebody is not being honest about the whole deal. I'm glad he is taking it back. Good luck, i hope you find a good one out there for a good price.

Internet "strikes" again. Too much information, but in a good way!
Fingers crossed for the money return!

Got the $$ back, no issues. Nathan--SLO LS1 (the guy who sold it to me) was real cool. He actually called the other guy he sold the 2nd 6L to and told him to verify his 6L was correct for his truck. I really felt like he was being honest with me. His car is a 98 Trans-Am so he wasn't familiar with the newer LS1 engine. Anyway, my search start anew....

Looks like you dodged a bullet

Who you knows, you may get lucky, just keep your eyes peeled for a LS7 falling off the back of an old Chevy pickup.

Thats the one. I forgot he said he had heard them run. Still could be true. They probably do run. The person who owned the truck they were in was the crooked one here.

So....now I'm back to the 402 question. How much boost will a Radix on a 2.75 pulley be able to feed a 402?

P.S. Anybody who knows of a good LQ4 PM me.
