Also found out I will need a water pump gasket, Crank bolt, Valve seals, Timing cover gasket and seal.

Guess I need to go to the dealership or GMPartsDirect.com. Anybody got part numbers?

CAM SPEC:
DUR @ .050" 210*/218*
LIFT .551 / .551
OVERLAP 52*
LSA 112*
with -10deg it should be good with the radix. and your using stock rockers?

what are the .006 specs?

Just get the Scoggin Dickey Cam Replacement Gasket Kit here. Should have everything you need.

Interesting cam choice....with a 112 LSA you should have all the lope you'd ever want.

You sure you need $300 springs on a cam with .550 lift? LS6 springs are dirt cheap and the 918's are only $159.

FWIW, most everyone I've talked with has said replace the stock pushrods with hardened ones while you're in there.

Yes, using stock rockers. Joe said they would be fine. I didnt want to spend another 600 for the rockers and pushrods just yet. I have to watch the $$ a little bit.

The other specs listed are:
DUR @ .004" 272*/280*

At least now you got a good excuse to replace the rockers, cause your push rods might be weak. I bet that one beats the "Shut up woman go mow the yard" line.

The pushrods I would need for the new rockers are not the same as the stock size. So, if I were to buy hardened push rods now they would be no good to me in a few months if I go with the 1.8 rockers. When I decide if I'm gonna spend the 600 bucks for rockers is when I'll figure out which push rods to get. I think I should be ok for awhile. I seem to see alot of guys with more lift than me running stock push rods and rockers.

Vinci was telling me $160 for the push rods alone.
I just got off the phone with ARP and they dont make rod bolts for a 2004 LQ4 or the lady didn't know what she was talking about.
