I've decided on the Trucker cam. I figured the LQ4 will make enough TQ down low to offset the little I'm giving up by NOT getting the Ultra TQ cam. I'm used to the 5.3 tq level so I won't notice any loss. I can spin the Trucker all the way to 6000 and it should still be pullin hard. Now I have to find out if I need seat/seals etc...
Anybody know if I can use Z06 springs with this cam instead of the Vinci titanium? There's about a $300 difference in price between the 2 sets of springs

I hate cams.

You will idle like a honda with the GT-7. Thats what tim recommended to me last year. I finally decided to go with 212/218 529,530 based on a poll I took here. Looking back I would have done a 214/220 to get alittle more umph!

Good Luck

Congrats - I think that will be a great cam for you.

As far as springs, what's wrong with Comp 918's?

Congrats on your choice, I was thinking gt2-3 for ya, but that cam didn't meet your lopey idle criteria. Anyway, best wishes!
