well i talked to my friend and he wants to use the 6.0 cam. he is on a very limited budget and a new cam, springs, and injectors is def. out. RockKrusher ive read somewhere that the compression will be 10.3 but, i need to use one of the calculators to see what i come up with. thanks everyone the more info the better. Mark

Alright, thanks, what octane should be run at that compression? Sorry this is my first time building an engine, I would guess premium

my silvySS came w/ 10:1 and premium is what is called for. im running almost 11:1 now. im sure w/ the right tune you could maybe run 89????? but we have 93 here and thats all i run.
