with a SD setup the BOV can be open at idle if you choose it to be, however it needs to close fast once pedal is pushed so you can build boost better

having it open at idle will only make air noise when a SD tune, when a maf tune it needs to be closed

I have the kit on mine with a SD tune, my bov stays open at idle and as soon as there is any throttle it seals shut, its perfectly fine

Bov are vented to atmosphere

Recirculating valves dump back into pipe ahead of turbo or blower
