well, you could have just bought a decent little reverse split cam for the 6.0 and sold it once you get the 409 going. as for that cam, it depends on if you want to stay hydraulic or go roller. but i would thing something hard core would be like a 295/305 .590/.600 113 or something like that....a buddy of mine has something comperable to that about to go into a 5.7 nitrous motor, and he works for a speed shop down here and expects to make 300+ on this cam with just a 200 shot.

These motors are hydraulic rollers to start with ... He should be making a bit more than 300 with that cam alone, then add for the 200 shot.
Parish .. I agree though, you could have gotten a used TR224 or something a little smaller for not much, same for springs. That would have been the thing to do while you had the motor out and easy to work on.
As for a wild *** turbo cam .. I'd call Comp Cams and see what they say. I'd be interested to know what they recommend.
