Are there any disadvantages to this kit as a forced induction option?

 

Justin, if your turbo is louder than this one, I bet people can hear you coming
1/4 mile away. I was standing in the door of my shop and my son turned the corner 100 yards away and even on the gas a little it was whistling like crazy.
This guy had the cats on. We did a 3in pipe over the axle and out on the side and the exhaust was pretty quite.
We used the 60-1 and .81 housing; just the base kit.

 

Yeah, my roomate said he could hear me coming about a 1/2mile away on this backroad near my house. I wasn't flooring it either, just into a couple psi. With no cats, big cam and no muffler through the GT67 it's pretty loud. On video it sounds quiet though.

 

Justin, do you have any videos other than the one at the track?

 

Just track videos and the one from in the tunnel but the tunnel vid was with the old setup.

By the time I bought a video camera the bad weather came and I broke the short block. LOL

All the truck vids are in here. Just footage from the 3 times I went to the track with various tunes. None of the 100mph runs though. No one was taping that day.
