Nothing changed as far as the KR goes.

I changed

1)intake gaskets
2)new intake manifold/new rails, injectos, tb, etc - whistling air leak sound gone
3)new knock sensors/harness
4)ordered catch can today

I really do need to get a wideband on this thing, but I don't believe it's going lean causing the knock...reason being the o2 sensors stay constant from no knock to when it supposedly knocks

Did you have the severe oil consumption before installing the TSP heads?

My motor doesn't burn any oil. I wasn't even aware of oil being sucked into the intake until I pulled it off.

Ok, let me re-iterate myself then. Did you have your intake manifold dripping so severely of oil before installing the texas speed cylinder heads?

Yes. It was like that with the 4.8. And I was being dramatic. There were 1 or 2 drops of oil from the intake manifold. It is more or less a light mist of oil covering all the intake ports. From what I understand this is common on LS engines. I even saw a picture of a LS7 intake manifold that had oil pooled in the bottom

Well, FYI I just swapped intake manifold gaskets and an oil pressure sending unit on a coworkers '00 LS1 vette. It actually poured out and left a puddle on his garage floor when I set his intake on end. I was like WTF. I reassemled everything and it's fine but still, I've seen it anyways.

Remove your PCV and put breathers on your valve covers.. I did that on mine so i would stop blowing oil out of the passenger side valve cover that i had a small filter on when i got in boost..

this way no oil is goin in your intake

Yep, I think my truck has the really bad PCV system on it too. I'll be interested to see how much oil the can catches.
