What do you all think? This is the root of my false knock at WOT?

New sensors in, torqued to 15 ft.lb and sealed off with high temp, sensor safe rtv

Oh, and I also should add, I have a massive oil suction into my intake. There is literally oil dripping from the intake gaskets and on the intake ports of the heads. I just had the intake off a couple weeks ago and cleaned all the oil off.

Why, John?

OP, is it normal for knock sensors to get all nasty like that or does it have to do w/. climate, like say where a lot of road salt is used?

its not necessarily the outside of the sensors that will cause a false knock. Those sensors have crystals inside of them that vibrate or pick up the certain pitch of a 'knock' IIRC. So its kind of a hit or miss thing.

how many miles does your motor have that your DRIPPING oil out of the intake? I just pulled my 6.0 and its relatively clean for ~4k miles

If this isn't it, then it has to be something mechanical. If this doesn't fix it I may try running some race gas when I'm almost out of gas and see what that does. It it's still getting the same knock then, then there's some other cause of the false knock.
