How tough is it to do a cam change?

Well I dont know if its the actually swap part thats hard.... You just have to keep the lifters up...
The hard part is having all the tools to take the other **** off..
and the knowledge of putting it back together...

not necessarily hard, but time consuming. like white1 said, the springs are a pain. the damn oil pan to timing cover bolts (2) were a pain for me to get started when putting it back together.

The cam swap was easy IMO except for thosw two bolts. I have LS1 fans though. I'm thinking of putting my stock cam back in and selling mine so I can go bigger
. Its not hard once those springs are done. I had a hard time getting the pully back on, but I think I figured out a trick for that.

Its probably not a good idea, if you do it, put some grease on the outside. I took a butane torch and heated up the INSIDE of the pulley, and put it on by hand except for about the last 1/4-1/2"
