Unhappy I Need A Direct Bolt On Exhaust System for My VHO!

I called Magnaflow and spoke with a tech there. He told me that they do not make a direct bolt on exhaust system for my VHO silverado.
Is that true??? If not, then which cat-back part# are you guys with VHO's using??? He even said that they do not make a direct bolt-on cat back system for a non-AWD SS trucks either.
Help.

Jim

You might want to check with some of the AWD SS guys. I am pretty sure that exhaust will fit our trucks.

Off Topic - are you the silver VHO I see sometimes on Cavalry road in Willis with a big "VHO MOTORSPORTS" sticker on the back window? Just curious b/c I saw one with a billet grill/bowtie the other day...

I think the SSS exhaust from magnaflow should bolt up but I'm not positive. Go over to silveradoss.com and ask around, there are a decent amount of guys there with VHO's. I would just weld a new muffler in anyways, the exhaust flows good enough through that set-up

No VHO Motorsports sticker here, but I do work as a service writer for NTB (National Tire & Battery) on the weekends that is located in Conroe at Hwy 105 and I-45. I do have a Precision Billit Grill and Billit Bowtie on my VHO though.
Swing by on a weekend at NTB sometime if you have time.

Unhappy

Corsa nor Magnaflow will not bolt right up. The hanger placements are different on the VHO's and SS's due to AWD vs. 2WD.
I spoke with both companies today with no luck of a bolt on kit.
I will not go with another fabricated exhaust system due to how it looks underneath......at least not on this particular truck.
I guess I will just wait until one of them produces a bolt-on kit for the new non AWD SS. Surely that one will work.
Well......in the mean time, factory silence will have to due. Just get to hear my Volant drone for a bit more time.

I put a B&B exhaust on my VHO. I used the same part number that was made for the AWD SS. I had no problems at all. The OEM exhaust that came off my truck was the same as the AWD SS with the exception of the chrome tip. Maybe they changed after the 2004 model year. I hope this helps.
