Before you go to building your engine you better make up your mind what kinda power adder your gunna run..

I say forged 370 with a 200 shot or 250 that should put a 4500lb truck south of 12s

 

i would expect a 370 on a 200 to 250 to send you sub 11's or 10's

 

I just said south of 12s becasue there's a lot of factors that come in.. Gearing, traction, etc I would think easy mid to low 11s

 

He is running a built 60e, true trac, and 4.10's, IIRC

I would think you could hit 12's with this

Stock LQ9 short block
Stock 243's
Custom Ground cam
A nice circle D stall
headers
good flowing exhaust
and some good DR's

 

traction will not be a issue, im converting it to AWD as soon as i find a nvg149 transfer case
