How often do you guys change fuel filter?

Just changed mine at 35k and it was almost as easy to blow through as the new filter. I always use chevron 93

I never go less than 1/4 of a gallon. Even with my OBS truck with 200,000 miles on it. Maybe I should check that fuel filter. Still stock pumps though.

That is an excellent point that I had not thought about, I am always waiting till my truck is about on fumes before I get gas. I bet that is why my filter was so plugged up.

Thanks to everybody for the responses about this, like I said before found it a little odd for my filter to be in the shape it was in for the mileage that was on it.

I better stop letting my tank get down to the last gallon or so before I fill back up.

Every 10K here. Only takes one bad tank to plug a filter and then it's only a matter of time until the pump fails. You might never get a bad tank but at ~$10 for a filter and 5 minutes to replace, I figure better safe than sorry.

The 04's and up have a returnless fuel system so there is no external filter, I believe it is in the fuel tank or something like that.
