Default How often do you guys change fuel filter?

I am just kind of curious as to how often you all change your fuel filter? I decided to change mine out on my truck this morning and I got the old one off and it is damn near plugged solid, can't even blow through it.

I thought that was kind of strange being that plugged up with **** after only about 30k miles. What do you guys think?

I have replaced mine three times and I only have 38K on the truck. Will probably do it again at 40K

Well I guess I had better start changing mine more often because mine was pretty bad, I even shined a flashlight into the filter and saw all kinds of crap in there.

I thought that I had been getting good quality fuel but maybe not. I sure am glad that I changed it though because I do not want to be running out of fuel when I'm sprayin, that could get ugly.

My truck is only a couple years old so it kind of surprised me to find that, makes me wonder now what the hell is in the bottom of my tank.

also, don't run your truck to the end of the tank. trash accumulates at the bottom and gets picked up, I never go less than 1/4 of a tank
