if your on a stock tune right now a cam, longtubes/ory/muffler and tuning will give around 100 combined.

From a stock setup yes.
I gained ~35hp from tune only, another ~30 with cam and another ~10 going from shorty headers to LT's so a total of ~75 for me.

I'd say thats about average, ~75-100 gain with all the properly matched parts... you cant just expect to throw a bunch of "fad" parts in a truck and expect it to run worth a damn. Do your homework.

oh no bro... I wasnt referring to you or your setup at all!!! You have a strong running truck because you have done your research and found out what works well together... how else would you be in the 12's on motor

I was more referring to some of the guys on LS1Tech... more cam more heads, more this, more that... and they end up with something slower than they started with... how many MS4 vs TRex threads have you seen over there

I am just looking at a simple setup. Plan to order Pacesetter LT's and ORY. I already have a small cam for the tq. Post install of cam/valvesprings/headers/ORY I plan to get a tune immediately.
