Default How Difficult is it to reach Spark plugs when having LPP LT's installed?

I'm going to install my LT"s within the next few days. I was going to purchase New iridium Spark plugs, but I'm tight on cash after buying the necessities to properly install my LT's.

I've often found on other cars that Spark plugs are insanely difficult to get to after installing headers. Is this the case with our GM's?

The only trouble I've ever had with 3 sets of headers is getting the driver's side back spark plug screwed in. Found out it's easiest to put it in from the underside. Tightening them with a socket is no problem however. A swivel socket is handy to have.

The plugs aren't too bad on these trucks with headers, especially when I compare it to plugs I've changed on other cars with headers (71 Camaro-sbc, 69 Chevelle-bbc, 67 Nova-sbc, 85 MonteSS-sbc, etc.). Compared to those rides, these plugs are a walk in the park. I used to have 5/8" wrenches cut in half and sockets ground down on one side to do some of those plugs

they just take time to change, but honestly...compared to almost any new vehicle, they are SUPER easy to change regardless of headers or stock mani's

I agree. compared to old sbc headers it is a walk in the park but I am short so it is hard leaning over the fenders reaching to the firewall.........and my truck is lowered. i can only imagine on those lifted trucks.
