Considering it's a separate TCM arrangement, the E38 doesn't care. A 6L80e....... Yuck, not in this lifetime.

Well either way I got the build sheet for it. Don't know where 620 came from because they say 600 but whats 20 hp among friends, lol.

I'm going to pass. I don't want the E38 ECM, or any of it's BS that goes along with it. In fact I like my wiring harness I have, and how cheap I got it. E38 means all over again plus a donors BCM and all it's wiring just so I can run cruise control..... lame. Deleting the VVT means a front cover, top sprocket and a camsahft change which is just more money out of pocket. Then I need the singal conditioner to go from 58X to 24X. It would be much simpler to just build up my LQ9...... like my original plan all along.
