Default Help with Adjusting Timing

I Did some logs last night and I am only getting 8deg of advance at launch and then it slowly decays to around 4 deg of advance at the shift point 5600 RPM. How do I raise the timing? My A/F is good at around 12:1, and I am not getting any KR. I have not messed with any of the timing tables at all. What EXACTLY do I adjust and by how big of increments? Thanks for the help.

I have not been able to figure out how to past in a efilive screen shot into one of these posts. How do I do that also?

OK, first, what version of edit do you have? Hopefully 1.4.

After you install 1.4, This should get you started.

Zero- fuel ratio vs RPM modifier table

Set Knock learn to Max RPM- 7100 Min RPM- 7000 (this will keep you from going into the low octane table).

Multiply IAT vs MAP table by 50%

In the high octane timing table- from .68 g/cyl to 1.2 g/cyl and from 1600 rpm to 6000 rpm(basically a big square area of numbers) set timing to 16 or so. (this should be a safe starting point)

Do these things, then go do some logs and report back.

It should be on the same page as the high and low octane tables.

You got the update to work?

yea, update worked fine. I still can't seem to locate the right table, where is it on the screen? Also, you said multiply the table by 50%, do you mean take all of the values * 1.5, or take all of the values * 0.5?

OK, sorry. Just looked , and its called IAT vs Load timing.

There is a mult% button in the corner of the screen, and a box next to it. Put 50 in the box and hit the Mult% button. It should cut all values in the table in half.
