Default Heat Exchanger ?'s

As some may know, my truck is not making power with the extremely high IAT's. When on the dyno, they soared pass 175 and I experienced tremendous heat soak problems.

I think I have the old heat exchanger that comes with the Radix. I want to put one that the is large enough to keep the IAT's in the lower 100's. I looked at the JLP heat exchanger and it looked nice.

Basically, here are some questions that I have:
1. What size is sufficient
2. Benefits of aluminum
3. Who makes them
4. What price should I look to pay

I know there are a lot of questions here, but let me know what you think. I HAVE to get those IAT's down asap and start running more timing so I could hit that 400rwhp mark. Thanks in advance.

I think I have the older one, it is about an 8" x 12" x 1.5" thick. I want to upgrade to the following heat exchanger. Whatcha think?

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...tem=7962587753

There is also these ones, but are very pricey and not sure of the differences.

I was just reading about a 04' GTO that had major heat soak problems also. They would lose 10-15rwhp per dyno pull. They started at like 370rwhp then after 6pulls they were down to 295rwhp!

After Magnacharger sent them the updated fuel crossover tube and a new tune that was a more agressive since the other was WAY to conservative. They finally got into the 12s @ 112mph? Their pre-fix times were 13.9@100mph. I can't remember specifics though and the magazine (Hot Rod)is at a friends house. I'm sure Brian knows about this.

NOTE: in their own words they would not build a "ringer" kit for the magazine. That is pretty cool of them in my book. They basically would only correct the kit so it was exactly what anyone on the street could buy and not special in anyway.

I think my story came out sounding too much like I liked the Radix kit... Hmm, I better edit it. I don't want Brian or Flyer or god forbid YOU thinking I like the BBQ Blower.
