Default Got pullies?

Im looking for some pullies for my 99 5.3. I want NO problmes with my altanator turning too slow. Im running a system and i need all the power i can get at idle especially at night with lights running too. Who puts a good package out, and are pullies really worth it? What are typical rear wheel HP numbers? thanks.

Power gains are typically 10rwhp or so, not much more than that. If you did electric fans + pullies you'd see around 15rwhp...that would register on the butt dyno.

Order a 1.75" alternator pulley from http://www.rpmoutlet.com/aspgm.htm for about $30. That is smaller and will get your charge close to normal. Smaller pulley = faster spin = quicker charger = more amperage.

They are in Dallas off Loop 12 and Davis (ghetto area). They sell them for around $150 I think. I bought a 130A for my F-150 new for $90 aboot two years ago. They build, modify, and repair basically anything with an electric motor. HO starters, alternators, etc.

You will need to upgrade power wire to ~4awg too.

Is it best to buy a kit? Or should i just buy them one by one? I have heard that the alt pully in some kits are not charging system friendly (Too slow). So i know for sure i would have to order that seperately.
