Snake Eater - You have a T04E compressor housing and the turbo parish8 has is a T04S compressor housing. The differences between the two are the intake and discharge size.

just added some header pic's to that folder, from 88-99 are the exhaust pic's.

i am still missing a few parts but i talked to seth today and they are all in the mail and suppose to be here tomorrow.

there was a mix up on that exhaust, i was suppose to get a cut out welded in but it got missed somehow, seth told me to just keep this pipe and there will be one with a cut out welded in made up shortly.

anyone want any better pic's of anything let me know, hopefully it will be going on the truck tomorrow and wont be as easy to take photos of.

Parish, is the black coating ceramic or just paint?
Looks nice.

Do you think id be better off with a larger compressor? This style turbo pushes 35psi into MD41 Volvo marine desiels, so i figured it would be more than big enough.

the coating is ceramic, some place called Performance Coatings. the headers and maybe the cross over are made out of 304(i think) stainless.

You put in a T where the oil pressure sender is located for the supply, then it drains to the pan. Parish, is your turbo fitted with both water and oil cooling fittings or just oil?

i just have the oil fittings. no water cooling, talked to a few people and nearly everyone agreed i didn't need it, just run good oil and no HOT shut downs.

so far i am prety disapointed in this kit, i have this sinking feeling right now
lots of little problems and i haven't even started installing the kit.

so far i am missing some hardware, some gaskets/orings, some fitings, some clamps. i believe at this point Seth thinks i have everything so it isn't just a matter of not being shiped yet,

the top pipe is just bare metal , the air filter wont fit on the tube going to it, there isn't enuff metal on the bov tubing for a good clamp, i have no idea how i am going to drill a hole in the oil pan, the tap and drill bit sizes that the instructions say i need are incorect.

i haven't installed this stuff yet so maybe it will be ok but i only see one bolt for the coolant overflow tank, there are no mounting provisions for any of the pipeing or intercooler all the way from the turbo to the throttle body.

i was hoping for a quick and clean install, i am fully capiable of bolting things together, installing the whipple was simple and strait forward, i dont think this will be like that, i see several trips to the hardware store at least and a few more overnighted parts from Seth. i am not here to slam cmotorsports, they will probably read this post and i dont want to **** them off, i am just reporting EXACTLY what i am going thru. i am glad someone steped up and put out a kit and once it is on an operating i am sure i will be happy as can be. right now i have the next 5 days to work on my truck, the track is open on saturday, i was hoping to get to the track that day but it isn't looking good.
