Parish, glad to hear you're feeling better. Sounds like Seth is a nice guy and easy to get ahold of, so it'll all work out.

Snake eater, If your planning on spending big$ on honda oil, then if I were you, I'd run Redline 5w30 instead. It can't be any more expensive than the honda stuff. Also, the honda stuff is designed for a wet clutch, so it can't have as many slippery additives as automobile oil.

it is coming along, the cross over pipe hit the front drive shaft so i pulled the drive shaft for now, got the turbo, header, downpipe, intercooler, top pipeing, air filter all in. there are a couple of plug wires on the header, have to talk to seth on that one and the oil lines are way too long, i think i can just shorten them up but i am not positive. i still have alot of work to do but i think it will run today. with out a front drive shaft i wont be geting any times to report though.

it runs, got to test fire it finialy and the turbo spins, looks soo sweet, got very hot instantly just idleing.

seth is going to make me a new cross over, he said they made that one on a 2500hd, seems odd that it doesn't fit my truck.

i have added pic's to that folder that is in the first post, they are from this afternoon so it wasn't done yet. i am still not done, no intercooler coolant, exhaust dumps right before the muffler, no nitrous stuff, no cut out, lots of work to do still but i think i will go take it for a quick test drive as it is , i need to run it for a few more minutes and change the oil again, i am prety sure i got some shavings in the pan when i taped that hole.

should have a little more info in an hour or so. , just had to come in a take a little break.

I would change the oil before running it then ... Maybe even snake a pen magnet up there to try and dig out some more.

Sweet work though .. sounds like your making good progress. I can't wait to see what it runs.

AFAIK the oil pan is aluminum, the magnet idea wont work all that well in that situation i'd imagine.
