BenKey those are just resevoirs for ice. I think BlownChevy runs one of those -or something similar in the bed of his ride.

Hey Parish, I don't run a resevoir. I believe that sitting water can only get hotter than ambient temperature outside. I would use a -large- ice resovoir and bypass the heat exhanger for track/dyno conditions though. Running without a res. on my setup works really well. Summer in Phoenix is coming up -time for some real cooling tests

Parish, what are the in/out diameters on the compressor? It looks about the same size as mine. Probibly a little bigger. Do you know anything about the header set up for it yet? Thats the biggest part holding me up.

Cant wait to see how its going to run. Looks sweet!!!!!

i am 99% sure i am going to go with a radiator out of some junkyard car, i can get something for under $50 i am sure that is way bigger than that jdm stuff, that place is expensive as hell!!

i know this may sound getto but i think i if i go with a reseveraur i will just mount a 5 gallon igglo water jug in the back of my truck and plumb some lines into it. it would be insulated, large lid for easy ice filling.

really the coolest thing would be to use the ac and a 2nd coil set up to cool that water, there would be no need for ice, just time between runs to allow the water to cool. i wonder how well the AC set up would cool water(antifreeze) if you had a regular ac coil just mounted under down in the coolant.

i see so many ways to make more power with this thing, good gas and twist the **** would be one real easy way.

i did get the header yesterday, it looks prety nice, it is just a basic log style header but very nice quality. i had to leave town so no pic's till tuesady. also got the downpipe, cross over pipe and exhaust pipe.

seth is telling me i will get all hardware today, top pipes, waste gate and bov no later than tuesday.

That is a good sized compressor. The intake on mine is 3", and the output is 2.25". The exhaust housing is water cooled though, so heat will not be as big of a deal for me. Im planing on just running a Duramax intercooler.

Come to think of it, why couldnt you use one of those to cool the coolent? Its made to fit in front of the radiator, and is prety large.

Wireless internet freaking rules! I can sit out in the truck and do some logs, and still check out the site to see what's going on. It makes it real easy troubleshooting trouble codes.
