Ive already got the fuel system for the turbo. Im using the Vortech FMU to increase fuel press as boost increases.

The Honda Racing oil is 10-40. With it also being liquid cooled, i dont think i will "fry" the oil as fast, or as bad as a non liquid cooled.

I know i have to have a waist gait, but do i have to have a blow-off valve?

Parish I was getting a little upset for you about the missing parts and whatnot too. It seems like (and i don't know anything about this, so what i say here means nothing) Seth is trying to just rush things out to you no matter how quality/complete they are to try to make up for his tardiness. In the wake of things being rushed, parts got misplaced.

But, then I see your picture! It looks like it is coming together nicely. For the sake of everyone on the truck board -come on Seth, Parish needs his parts to go racing!!!

Parish nice 'racing' refrigerator btw. I have a garbage can that has a lot of sponsors too

My dad's riding mower has a few stickers on it .. AutoMeter, Hotchkic, and a few others. The pull behind kart has a Z71 sticker on it. I also put the SLT emblems on the mower when I pulled them off the old truck.

The BOV is "optional" i spose, but without it, when you take your foot off the throttle at the end of a run when the turbo is fully spooled, then the pressure is there with nowhere to go so it backs up into the impeller and makes it surge which adds a lot of strain on the turbo. Also, it makes a cool PSSHSHH sound when you shift or rev and let off the throttle

With the oil, synthetic has less of a tendancy to "coke" inside the turbo oil passages than a conventional oil. Its just a little extra piece of mind, plus you wont have to change your oil quite as often as you would with conventional, you have to remember that under prolonged load, the turbo can get so hot that it glows red, so you're going to want as much protection as possible. A turbo timer will help reduce coking as well because the oil wont be letting the oil sit in the turbo when it is still at a high operating temp.

need to look up that lightning intercooler set up that someone put on their radix truck, seems like it was real big. parish
There is a lightning heat exchanger over on www.rpmoutlet.com Its made pretty much the same as the fluidyne, just a little cheaper in price. Dont know if thats any help.

i am feeling prety good about this project now, there were alot of little parts missing but i mocked up almost everything and then called seth with a list and it will all be here tomorrow. it almost seems to me the person that put the list of materials in the box wasn't paying attention, Seth knows EXACTLY what parts it takes to make the kit and alot of the parts were the wrong size and stuff. it is all looking prety good now.

i got my heads back and will have them on the truck tonight. i got the return oil line drilled and taped in the pan, that wasn't too bad. i think it really will go on prety easy now. i wont have a cut out right away and i wont have any fluid in the intercooler right away but i could see geting it fired up tomorow.

get this, Seth has a 10gallon fuel cell mounted under his bed in the back for his coolant reseveur, he says when he wants to add ice he just drains out some fluid, dumps a bag of ice in the bed of his truck and brushes it all right into the fill hole. hmm, i like it. it wouldn't need to be full but in his case(2wd) it might actualy help. i might try and do the same thing but with a 5 gallon cell.
