HAHA Parish you did the same thing I did with the 5.3 radiator. I too looked and measured to use that as my heat exchanger for the water going to the intercooler. It is sooo close huh..lol.
I would seriously consider a better heat exchanger than the Setrab oil cooler for your setup. I know you will get much better performance with one that could cool the water more efficiently -especially having to deal with the heat a turbo throws.

What are the measurements on the supplied intercooler?

Ya I calculated my recycle time of the water in the intercooler system and it came out to about a cycle of the entire system (approx. 1.5gallons) every 15 seconds. I run two Jabsco pumps in parallel. It is way more than enough for me.

Lets see those headers already.....j/k

i thought of something else, if i have a really large heat exchanger(radiator) then i can dump the reseveraur all together i think. if i use a radiator that holds as much coolant as the other heat exchanger and reseveuar together and i get alot better cooling then i would be way ahead and not have to put that big tank under my hood.

looks to me like that tank would soak up some heat sitting under the hood too.

Where do you get this kit from?
He got it from Combination Motorsports in Las Vegas. Not sure what he paid though. Here's the link to a previous thread.

I think you would be happier with one of these:

Powercooler

Supercooler

Hey Parish if you find one of the Fluidyne or Spearco intercoolers you'd like let me know and I'll see if I can get it cheaper for you in case you don't have a hook up. I know I can get one of brands, just not sure which.

Parish ... Would that tank fit where the battery is now? If so, I might be interested in it if you end up not using it.

C'mon ... someone's gotta know what David used.
