Gibson Exhaust
#2
i'm running the supertruck exhaust. it sounds really good. its a lot louder now then when i first put it on. i dont like the look of the tips. i'll get around to changing them eventually. i'm also using the gibson stainless steel headers. they fit great and don't leak, and still look brand new after 15,000 miles.

I've got a 3 inch cat back from Gibson. Nice and quiet at idle and part throttle sounds good at wot. Can't hear exhaust at all now, thanks to the sc. It was the 1st mod I did to my truck. Noticed a nice improvement.

cool thanks. I just put a k&n fipk 77 series on my truck this morning and it made it sound pretty good. I'm planning on buying the gibson sports series exhaust maybe next week.

Just wait till you get about a 100K on the clock w/ a gibson. I know I'll never go w/ their catback system again. The baffle fell apart in the muffler and sounded like one of those ricer mufflers. As far as the headers go don't go w/ the felt gaskets that come w/ them. Do yourself a favor and get some metal Fel-Pro gaskets and toss the felt ones that they give you. I also gained about .2 tossing the Gibson catback and going w/ a DynoMax !!! Just my two cents...Zed

I have the supertruck. At least 45k miles on it with no problems. Love the side exit, but cut mine off and dumped it in front of the axle. Tips drug everywhere on my truck. Decent setup, I like it.

I got a Gibson single-in/single-out sideswept, which was supposed to be the quietest exhaust on the market (this is what Adam Gibson told me at SEMA last year). Resonation galore from 1600-2200 RPMs, plus a gross, nasty, raspy sound. Cut that piece of garbage off my truck and got a Flowmaster 70 Big Block muffler....much better, much quieter, no resonation. Me happy now.
