Default Get stock TB ported or go to 80mm or 85mm TB? or LS6 intake?

05 rcsb 5 speed 4.8l.

Already have every bolt tune, underdrive, headers, no cats, gears, CAI, etc besides cam, heads, blower .

Should I get my current TB ported and polished for 50.00 or just go to an ls6 intake or a fast or BBK intake and an 80mm or 85mm bbk or fast throttle body? I know its more of a WOT increase, kills bottom end.

Thoughts? Im sure its been talked about before.

Do a motor swap before you add anything else IMO

Why spend the money on a smaller motor? Because soon hes gonna tap out the very last bit of power from the 4.8 and have wasted all that money only to wanna put a bigger motor in...If i could do it over again id have dropped a 6.0 in my silverado before modding my 5.3, but wasted all my money on the small motor and want more power now

Its a regency rst pretty rare in the silverbitch color so I dont want to hack into it too bad.. So far anything I have done is reversible and kept anything taken off.

I was going to have the throttle body ported/polished but than saw to add the ls6 intake for some extra ponies. Then i saw the bbk and other molded intakes with 85mm throttle bodies for even more ponies. Which setup works the best, I know the bbk and fast will outflow the ls6, not too worried about heatsoak on the aluminum ones.

So in the end I wont spray it, if anything it would be a maggie on top or a passengers side turbo.

For now that is on hold until my house is done renovations in 2 years or so.

So looking for bolt on's to rip around this summer.

Why are people so scared of spray? You get the same power as a blower for 1/10th the cost and if you don't go cheap on the safty wquipment its just as safe or safer then boost....

true, but judging from your sig it doesnt look like you have done anything that wont work on a 6.0. so run the **** outta that 5.3 and if it goes, drop the 6.0 eventually and your still good to go!

None of those intakes would be worth the $$ on a 4.8..
