Default GenI swap into an NBS

This probably sounds like a stupid idea, but I was wondering what all would be involved into swapping a SBC into my truck? A friend of ours has a supercharged 400 small block complete w/ accessories that he's trying to get rid of and he said he'd give me a good price on it. I don't really know any of the other specs, but I'll ask next time I talk to him. What all would I have to do to swap it in?

Mykk's is a 357 SBC
there's another guy who did a carb'd 383 in his 03.
the 8.1 you're thinking about also had a 454 before that.

find them & ask them what's up
i'd imagine you'd use a modded 4.3 setup as far as computer/harness/accessories go

I'd think use 4.3 crap and you'd be golden... just have to retune the 'puter otherwise I highly doubt many other changes would need to be made... I gave a thought to dropping a 350 into my 4.3 truck before I decided to go the 5.3 route... glad I did as the LS is a better motor in a lot of ways imo...
