gains with 90mm lingenfelter vs. truck intake?
#1
found a 90mm ported lingenfelter intake manifold and wondering if this is a worthwhile upgrade to a 2001 silv. 2500hd with the lq4? i read alot that the truck intake flows better than car intakes, wondering if there would be a worthwhile gain in performance in running this over the truck intake?

With that intake you will more then likely need to change the alternator location, also will need diff fuel rails, use f body injectors, diff injector plugs.. If your looking for a upgrade, look into a 08 up truck intake or TBSS intake.. They use a 90mm tb( you will have to by a Dr X harness to use a 90 mm tb or you can buy a 70$ adapter to run the standard 78mm tb.. You can use the truck injectors, but will have to mod the fuel rails to work.. Do a search for tbss intake...

have a look through these. They will answer pretty much all of your questions. I use the vette fuel filter to convert my return lines to the returnless fuel rails. Has way better throttle response and it'll pin you to your seat from 4k rpms up,

well, i have a vortech v-2 charger sitting in the garage im still gathering random parts to complete it like oil lines, fuel press. regulator, and other odds and ends... so i thought going with an aluminum intake would be a little boost freindly... ill look into a '08+ or a TBSS intake
