where is the fuel filter located on a 2005 gmc ecsb?

Did a 2 minute google search just to be sure. But it should be located on the driver side just inside the frame, right around where the cab and bed meet.
If it's not there it could be in the tank but i don't think it is.

In the 2004+ returnless systems it has been incorporated into the fuel module which is inside the tank. There is some variation in designs but here is a pic of mine. It is not serviceable as a separate part and is considered a "lifetime" filter.
