You need a catch can to stop it.

It is a filter and reservoir that goes in line with the PCV system to catch oil. One of the design flaws, or "characteristics" of GENIII engines is oil being sucked through the PCV system and into the intake and combustion chambers. Do a search on "catch can" and you'll find a butt load of info on it. AMW, one of our sponsors, makes a real nice catch can. Expensive, but worth every penny in my opinion.

$88 is what the AMW one costs, and that is much cheaper than a greddy, etc. Much better quality too.

You can thank the EPA for that oil in you intake. It's not just the GenIII, but all new vehicles sold in the US thanks to the EPA. Just "T" the right side with the left side on run it out behind the drivers side wheel well. A catch can is optional. I don't use one. My system costs a couple of bucks and has been in service for several years. You can eat off of my throttle body or intake manifold runners. They are just that clean since I bypassed the PCV system. You must block off the bung on the throttle body from the right side of the motor, but you would have figured that one out once you started the engine and had a very crappy idle. It's not just the oil in your throttle body this should bother you. That oil is finding its' way down into you cylinders as well after it makes a nice syrupy mess inside of your throttle body and intake runners. Isn't that special. Thanks EPA!
